Let your creative energy flow while learning how to assemble your own fiber art wall hanging.  Explore various looping techniques as you attach a variety of yarns, twines, jutes, novelty threads and focal objects onto a rustic piece of local driftwood.  No experience necessary.  Driftwood and shells provided, as well as yarn.

Teacher: Mary Kate McGeehan- Bio

Mary Kate McGeehan has been involved in creative endeavors her entire life, most recently, with her career in fiber arts and acrylic resin. Always drawn to the ocean, Mary Kate’s art reflects her deep love of the sea, the sky and the beach. She has been showing her driftwood wall hangings and acrylic resin art in Carpinteria where she now happily lives and is inspired daily.
