Sea You In September!

Santa Barbara, California

It’s the only festival of its kind in Southern California – and one of three on the west coast – showcasing handmade sea glass jewelry and ocean-themed art. The Santa Barbara Sea Glass & Ocean Arts Festival features work created by dozens of talented artists from all across the country, bringing thousands of sea glass and beach enthusiasts to the renowned coastal jewel of Santa Barbara, California.

Held at the Earl Warren Showgrounds the second weekend in September.  This end of summer weekend event will also have educational presentations, live music, raffles, exciting contests and some great giveaways.

Since giving back to the community is of utmost importance to the committee, a portion of proceeds from the Festival will go to Explore Ecology – a local environmental education and arts nonprofit. Their programs include Art from Scrap (Creative ReUse Store and Gallery), Watershed Resource Center, Flows To The Ocean (a Marine Debris Prevention Program), and School Gardens Program.

The Santa Barbara Sea Glass & Ocean Arts Festival Committee names Explore Ecology – the 2017 "Giving Back" Recipient.
